Meet us at Trade Fair “Baltic Fashion & Textile Vilnius”

On 18-20th of October Natūralus Pluoštas will take part in 27th international trade fair of textile, fashion and innovations “Baltic Fashion & Textile“.

Domestic and foreign companies will present their products: fabrics, raw materials, home and interior textiles, accessories and sewing accessories, clothing, leather goods and footwear, the latest technologies and equipment. It is planned that the exhibition will have 60 participants from 26 countries.

Natūralus Pluoštas booth will introduce visitors to hemp fibers and their use in the textile industry. The textile made from this fiber is durable, has antibacterial properties and is especially suitable for the furniture industry and production of non-woven materials. In addition, hemp is grown almost without fertilizers and pesticides, therefore corresponds to a modern approach where sustainability and ecology are very important.

The company will also share information about the first year of growing hemp for fiber in Lithuania, will present hemp seed variety bred especially for Baltic climate and will talk about the future of hemp processing plant in Kėdainiai.
